The Cardinals released Ginn in a move that created $2.5 million in cap space for Arizona. Since then he visited with the 49ers and Browns.
I previously speculated that the Panthers could be a team to have some interest in Ginn given that he had a good amount of success in Carolina before joining the Cardinals as a free agent last year. Carolina could also use some help at receiver.
Ginn, 29, appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and caught 14 passes for 190 yards receiving to go along with 694 total kick and punt return yards and a touchdown.
