Panthers TE Greg Olsen Out With Foot Injury

Panthers TE Greg Olsen was forced from Sunday’s game against the Cowboys with a foot injury after it was stepped on while running a route in the first half.

This is a pretty big concern for Olsen, considering that he missed a number of games last year with a foot injury.

Olsen, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2007. He played four years for Chicago before he was traded to the Panthers in 2011.

Olsen was in the final year of a four-year, $27.75 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $6.5 million for the 2018 season when he agreed to a two-year extension worth $8.55 million back in April.

In 2017, Olsen appeared seven games for the Panthers and caught 17 passes for 191 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We’ll have more regarding Olsen as the news is available.
