Lobato, 25, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Colorado. He lasted close to a month with the Colts before he was cut and later signed by the Dolphins.
The Buccaneers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract in January of 2015, only to waive him at the start of the regular season.
At Northern Colorado he threw for 8,090 yards while completing 56.6 percent of his passes to go along with 53 touchdowns and 34 interceptions. He has yet to make an appearance in the NFL.
