Panthers Worked Out 3 Players Including QB Tyler Ferguson

According to Howard Balzer, the Carolina Panthers brought in three players for tryouts on Tuesday including TE Evan BaylisTE Jerome Cunningham and QB Tyler Ferguson.

Of this group, the Panthers signed Baylis to their practice squad.

Ferguson, 23, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in April. Tennessee decided to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.

The Titans released him from their practice squad last week.

During his three-year college career, Ferguson recorded 29 completions on 56 attempts (51.8 percent) for 389 yards and four touchdowns.
