Panthers Worked Out 5 Players Including OT Michael Bowie & DB Tyler Patmon

Pro Football Talk reports that the Panthers brought in five players for workouts on Tuesday including OT Michael Bowie, OT Pearce Slater, DB Randall Evans, DB Tyler Patmon, and DB Kevin Short.

Bowie, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks out of Northeastern State back in 2013. He spent one year in Seattle before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

Cleveland placed Bowie on the reserve/retired list back in early August before cutting him loose in recent weeks.

In 2013, Bowie appeared in nine games and played a total of 539 snaps, grading out as a solid run-blocker.

Patmon, 25, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May of last year. The Cowboys cut him loose in December of last year.

The Dolphins later signed him to their practice squad and brought him back on an exclusive rights free agent this past April. However, Miami waived him at the start of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Titans but was waived a few weeks later.

In 2015, Patmon has appeared in 13 games and recorded 13 tackles, six pass defenses and 26 kick return yards for the Cowboys.
