Panthers Worked Out OL Isame Faciane & Josue Matias

According to Howard Balzer, the Carolina Panthers brought in free agent offensive linemen Isame Faciane and Josue Matias for tryouts on Tuesday.

Faciane, 26, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the Vikings’ 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie year but was later added to the team’s practice squad.

The Vikings elected to bring him back Faciane back on a future/reserve contract before waiving him at the start of the 2016 season. He was on and off of the Vikings’ practice squad before eventually catching on with the Bills and finishing out the year in Buffalo.

The Dolphins signed him to a contract in August but wound up waiving him a month later.

Faciane has yet to appear in an NFL game.
