Panthers Working Out DB Jeremiah McKinnon

According to Aaron Wilson, the Panthers are bringing in DB Jeremiah McKinnon for a workout on Wednesday.

  • Wilson adds that 10 teams have inquired about McKinnon since becoming a free agent.

McKinnon, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Florida International back in May before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys. He was set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived with the injury designation.

After reverting to the Cowboys injured reserve list, Dallas later waived him with a settlement back in September.

He has yet to appear during an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, McKinnon recorded 104 tackles, a half sack, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, 14 pass defenses, four forced fumbles and two pass defenses.
