Patriots Agree To Terms With Second-Round DB Cyrus Jones

Jeff Howe reports that the Patriots have agreed to terms with second-round DB Cyrus JonesĀ and he is expected to sign his contract on Thursday.

Jones, 22, was selected with the No. 60 overall pick last week by New England. He was the Patriots’ first draft pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, since they had to forfeit their first-round pick.

According to OverTheCap.com, Jones receives a four-year,Ā $4,006,706 deal.

During his three years at Alabama, Jones accumulated 69 tackles, one sack, five interceptions, 18 pass defenses, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
