Patriots Hosted Louisville QB Lamar Jackson For Pre-Draft Visit

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Patriots hosted Louisville QB Lamar Jackson on a Top 30 pre-draft visit a few weeks ago.

According to Rapoport, the Patriots were left “intrigued and impressed” with Jackson and it’s possible he could be an option for them at No. 23 overall.

Jackson met with the Browns, Saints, Chargers, Ravens and Bengals in recent weeks.

Jackson, 21, will be one of the more interesting players to watch in this year’s draft, as he could go anywhere from mid-first to early-second, depending on how things play out.

During his three years at Louisville, Jackson threw for 9,043 yards while completing 57 percent of his passes to go along with 69 touchdowns and 27 interceptions. He also rushed for 4,132 yards and 50 touchdowns.

We have the Cardinals taking Jackson in our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
