Patriots Hosted WR Nate Washington For A Visit

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots brought in veteran WR Nate Washington for a visit on Monday.

Washington, 32, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Tiffin back in 2005. He wound up playing out his rookie contract before signing a free agent deal with the Titans.

The Texans wound up signing him to a one-year contract last year, and he’s once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Washington appeared in 14 games for the Texans and recorded 47 receptions for 658 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 76 receiver out of 121 qualifying players.
