Patriots LB Harvey Langi Expected To Miss 4-5 Weeks With Internal Laceration

Jeff Howe of the Athletic reports that Patriots LB Harvey Langi is expected to miss 4-5 weeks with an internal laceration that he suffered during practice.

According to Howe, there’s a concern that laceration could be to Langi’s kidney, which is why he isn’t expected to be cleared for a month or so.

Langi, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of BYU last year. He signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $555,000 this season.

Unfortunately, Langi was placed on the non-football injury list with back injury in October, ending his season.

In 2017, Langi appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the Patriots.

We’ll have more regarding Langi as the news is available.
