Patriots Place OL Brian Schwenke On IR, Cut RB Kenneth Farrow From PS

The New England Patriots Patriots have placed C/G Brian Schwenke on injured reserve and released RB Kenneth Farrow from their practice squad, according to Mike Reiss.

Schwenke, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans back in 2013. Schwenke played out his four-year, $2,624,260 contract with the Titans before signing a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent last year.

Unfortunately, the Colts released Schwenke at the start of last season and he later returned to the Titans and finished out the year in Tennessee. The Patriots signed him to a contract back in July and while he was released coming out of the preseason, they re-signed him a few days later.

In 2018, Schwenke has appeared in three games for the Patriots.
