Patriots Placing DT Dominique Easley On Season-Ending I.R.

Tom Curran reports that the Patriots are placing DT Dominique Easley on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday with a thigh injury.

Easley, 23, is in the second year of his four-year, $7.303 million rookie contract that includes $5.887 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $751,980 this season and another $1.084 million in 2016.

His 2015 season ends with him appearing in 11 games and recording 15 tackles and two sacks for the Patriots. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 defensive tackle out of 70 qualifying players.
