Patriots RB Jeremy Hill Out For Season With Torn ACL

Patriots RB Jeremy Hill suffered a torn ACL during Week 1’s game against the Texans, according to Ian Rapoport and is now out for the season.

You can expect the Patriots to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Hill, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,753,602 contract and made a base salary of $881,855 for the 2017 season.

The Patriots signed Hill to a one-year, $1.5 million contract that included a $150,000 signing bonus back in March.

In 2017, Hill was limited to appearing in seven games for the Bengals and rushed for 116 yards on 37 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with four receptions for 16 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
