Tom Curran of CSNNE.com reports that the Patriots have re-signed WR Austin Collie.
This comes exactly one month after they released him at the start of November. Collie previously caught three passes for 34 yards in two games for the Patriots this season before being cut loose.
Wide receivers Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins are both dealing with injuries that could prevent them from suiting against the Browns this weekend, so this is most likely a depth move. New England figures to go with Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola for much of the game with Josh Boyce being worked into the mix somehow.
