Patriots Sign DB Dewey McDonald To Practice Squad

The New England Patriots officially signed DB Dewey McDonald to their practice squad on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.

The Patriots practice squad now consists of:

1. DB Dewey McDonald
2. DT Robert Thomas 
3. OL Keavon Milton
4. OL Torrian Wilson 
5. S Ross Ventrone
6. FB Joey Iosefa
7. WR Chris Harper 
8. TE Asante Cleveland
9. OT Blaine Clausell
10. LB Darius Fleming

McDonald, 25, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of California (PA) back in May of last year. Since then, he’s been on and off of the team’s practice squad.

The Patriots wound up claiming McDonald off of waivers from the Colts, but unfortunately waived him earlier in the week.

This season, McDonald has appeared in two games this season and recorded a single tackle .
