Patriots Sign First-Round DT Malcom Brown

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Patriots have signed first-round DT Malcom Brown to a four-year contract.

Brown was one of just six players from the 2015 draft class who had yet to sign his rookie contract. The Patriots have now officially locked up their entire group of 2015 rookies to four-year deals.

According to OverTheCap.com, Brown is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $7,613,232 and includes a $3,796,896 signing bonus.

During his three years at Texas, Brown recorded 88 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass defense.
