The New England Patriots announced the signing of TE Kyle Auffray on Monday, as well as the release of WR Derrick Johnson.
Auffray, 27, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out New Hampshire last year. However, he lasted just a few months with the team before he was waived.
Auffray originally started his college career at Mississippi State before transferring to New Hampshire in 2012.
Johnson, 22, signed with the Patriots as a rookie agent out of Maine a few weeks ago. He finished his college career with 116 receptions for 1,165 yards and four touchdowns.
