Brown, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chiefs back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their Kansas City’s practice squad.
The Chiefs elected to bring Brown back on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, he was once again among the roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
During his college career, Brown caught 155 passes for 2,295 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns while contributing another 160 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground.
Brown has yet to appear in an NFL game.
