Patriots Sign RB Jeremy Hill To One-Year, $1.5M Deal

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots are signing former Bengals RB Jeremy Hill to a contract on Friday.

  • According to Tom Pelissero, the Patriots signed RB Jeremy Hill to a one-year contract worth $1.15 million that includes a $150,000 signing bonus.

Hill, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,753,602 contract and made a base salary of $881,855 for the 2017 season.

Hill was testing the open market an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Hill was limited to appearing in seven games for the Bengals and rushed for 116 yards on 37 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with four receptions for 16 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
