ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that TE Rob Gronkowski underwent surgery on his broken forearm Monday.
There’s still no specific timetable for his return, but he at least has a shot of being back in time for the team’s final game of the regular season.

Tom Curran of Comcast SportsNet New England reports that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski suffered a broken forearm during Sunday’s win over the Colts.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter adds that his sources confirmed that Gronkowski’s injury happened on the team’s final extra point of a blowout win.
Typically, this type of injury will cost a player 4-6 weeks, but it is possible that Gronkowski could be out even longer. The Patriots have been without Aaron Hernandez for a good majority of the season because of an ankle injury, so this will obviously force them to make some adjustments to their offense.
You have to wonder why the team had their starters out their for the remainder of game that they had well in hand.
