The New England Patriots have officially placed WR DeAndrew White on waivers Thursday to make room for newly signed LB David Harris.
White, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in May of last year before signing a three-year, $1.582 million contract with the 49ers. He was set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2016 season when the 49ers cut him at the start of the 2016 season.
The Patriots later signed him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and later brought him back last month.
In 2015, White appeared four games for the 49ers and caught two passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
