The New England Patriots officially placed DB Troy Hill on waivers Wednesday.
Hill, 24, signed on with the Bengals an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in May. He was unable to make the 53-man, but was later added to the team’s practice squad before being waived last week.
The Patriots placed a waiver claim for Hill and last Friday and waived TE Asante Cleveland to make room for him.
This season, Hill has appeared in three games and recorded six tackles.
