According to Doug Kyed, the Patriots brought in DT Jeoffrey Pagan for a workout on Tuesday.
Pagan, 23, is a former sixth-round pick by the Texans in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was entering the third year of a four-year, $2,348,820 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $600,000 when Houston elected to cut him loose.
Pagan, unfortunately, landed on the team’s injured reserve during the preseason and was waived with an injury settlement back in September.
The Seahawks and Bears worked him out since becoming an unrestricted free agent but was not signed to a contract.
In 2015, Pagan appeared in six games for the Texans and recorded one total tackle but no other statistics.
