Patriots Worked Out LB Boseko Lokombo

Mike Reiss of ESPN reports that the Patriots worked out free agent LB Boseko Lokombo this week before signing LB Trevor Reilly to their practice squad.

Lokombo, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Oregon back in 2014. He signed on with the BC Lions of the CFL and played three years in Canada before joining the Ravens on a future/reserve contract this past January.

Unfortunately, the Ravens waived him coming out of the preseason but he was later signed to their practice squad. Baltimore elected to move on from him last month.

The Raiders signed Lokombo to their practice squad a few weeks but released him not long after.

During his college career at Oregon, Lokombo recorded 171 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, five interceptions, four forced fumbles, three defensive touchdowns and seven pass defenses.
