Patriots Worked Out Four Free Agents

According to Mike Reiss, the Patriots brought in four free agents for tryouts on Monday including The Patriots have WR Reggie Davis, WR Damoun Patterson, RB Brandon Radcliff and OT Toby Weathersby.

Patterson, 24, signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State back in May. Pittsburgh elected to waive him with an injury settlement as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

Patterson has worked out for the Titans and visited with the Vikings in recent weeks.

During his three-year college career, Patterson recorded 54 receptions for 1,048 yards receiving (19.4 YPC) and six touchdowns.

Davis, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2017. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason and later claimed by the Browns.

Davis later returned to the Falcons, signing on to their practice squad and eventually re-signing with Atlanta this past January. However, Davis was once again waived coming out of the preseason.

Davis had a brief stint on the Eagles’ practice squad.

During his four-year college career at Georgia, Davis recorded 47 kickoff returns for 998 yards (21.2 YPR) and 34 punt returns for 251 yards (7.4 YPR) and scored one touchdown. As a receiver, Davis caught 38 passes for 618 yards receiving (16.3 YPC) for two touchdowns.
