Patriots Worked Out Three Players

Mike Reiss of ESPN reports that the Patriots brought in three players for tryouts on Friday including LB Sam Eguavoen, OT Ryker Mathews and WR Tim Wilson.

Reiss notes that Eguavoen (Saskatchewan) and Mathews (Hamilton) play in CFL.

Wilson, 24, wound up going undrafted out of East Stroudsburg University back in May. He later secured a tryout with the Eagles during their rookie minicamp and agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract.

However, the Eagles elected to waive Wilson coming out of the preseason.

During his college career at East Stroudsburg University, Wilson caught 133 passes for 2,042 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns.
