Aaron Wilson reports that the Patriots worked out free agent WR Reggie Diggs on Wednesday.
Diggs, 24, signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation a few months later and reverted to their injured reserve once clearing waivers.
The Redskins waived him once again two weeks ago.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career with Richmond, Diggs recorded 191 receptions for 2,542 yards receiving (13.3 YPC) for 13 touchdowns.
