Percy Harvin Informs The Vikings That He Wants To Be Traded?

Sid Hartman of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Percy Harvin has informed the Vikings that he “doesn’t want to play for them and wants to be traded.”

Hartman sounds convinced that Harvin won’t be back in Minnesota next year, but the report seems to be a little speculative.

Harvin’s issues with the Vikings have been well documented, but numerous reports have suggested that Minnesota in unlikely to receive fair compensation in return for him. It’s hard to part with a game-changing player for a mid-round pick.

The 49ers have been tossed out as a potential trade partner recently, but it’s really too early to say that this is a plausible trade idea. Harvin has already solidified himself as one of the main offseason storylines, so there will definitely be more on this subject in the coming weeks.
