Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that the Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael is expected turn down interviews with Jaguars and Eagles to remain in New Orleans next season.
Carmichael is actually coaching free agent, which is why he drawing interest from other NFL teams. Carmichael has been a big reason why the Saints offense has been so prolific in recent years. This is great news for the Saints as they’ve managed to keep Carmichael and head coach Sean Payton in place despite the fact that they could left as free agents.
