The Denver Broncos have decided that QB Peyton Manning will only play one or two series in tonight’s preseason opener.
“It’s gonna come down to how much our first offensive line plays,” said John Elway, via ESPN.com. “I asked (Manning) the other day, ‘one or two series?’ I think you get a feel for it during the game.
Despite the fact that it be a short night for Manning, it will still be the first time that he’s participated in an NFL game since January of 2011. It will be interesting to see how his arm and anticipation looks at this point in time.
