Peyton Manning Wins MVP & Offensive Player of the Year

Broncos QB Peyton Manning won both the AP Most Valuable Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year awards in 2013.

This is Manning’s fifth MVP and eighth Offensive Player of the Year awards.

Manning, 37, put together one of the best seasons from a quarterback in NFL history. He completed 68.3 percent of his passes for 5,477 yards and an NFL record 55 touchdown passes.

This comes just two years removed from four neck surgeries. Manning gets an opportunity to build on what has been an unbelievable career on Sunday when he makes his third Super Bowl appearance.
