Pierre Garcon Optimistic That He’ll Finish The Season Without Further Injury

Washington WR Pierre Garcon mentioned that he doesn’t expect his troublesome foot to keep him out of any of the team’s remaining games this season.

“I think I’m going to make it through the whole season,” Garcon said, via Chris Russell. “I’ve been dealing with the pain for so long, it’s only getting numb, used to it.”

Garcon is coming off of a very productive game against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving where he finished with 5 catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. The Redskins passing attack was very productive throughout the game, which probably had something to do with Garcon being back.

It seems likely that he will undergo surgery during the offseason on his foot.
