It appeared as though no trades were going to be completed before today’s deadline and then ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news that the Buccaneers are trading former first-round pick S Mark Barron to the Rams for their 2015 fourth and sixth-round picks.
Barron is a former No. 7 overall selection, but it became clear that the new coaching staff in Tampa Bay were not very high on him moving forward.
The Rams get a once promising young safety, which happens to be a big need for them. However, there are some obvious questions and concerns about his ability to hold up in coverage.
