Quarterback Controversy In Seattle?

On Sunday the Seattle Seahawks pulled off a great upset win despite losing their starting QB Tarvaris Jackson. Backup QB Charlie Whitehurst came in and tossed 27 yard touchdown to Doug Baldwin to give them the lead.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll confirmed that Jackson has a strained pectoral muscle.

ESPN’s John Clayton writes that the Seahawks will stick with Jackson “as long as he’s healthy” despite Whitehurst’s performance.

It’s hard to say that Whitehurst did enough on his own to force the team to make a change but then again Jackson has done plenty up to this point to warrant such a move.
