Question Marks Surround Both Rashard Mendenhall & Isaac Redman

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette tweets that the Steelers believe Rashard Mendenhall has a better shot of playing against the Bengals this weekend than Isaac Redman does.

Mendenhall has been bothered by a minor Achilles injury in recent weeks, while Redman is dealing with a ankle sprain.

Dulac adds that Mendenhall will still have to practice on Friday before they know whether or not they can count on him being available for Sunday night’s game.

The Steelers have been hampered with injuries as of late. Ben Roethlisberger reportedly left practice today and Troy Polamalu has already been ruled out for Week 7. They have question marks on their offensive line, so it would be a big help to their offense to have Mendenhall available. We’ll have more updates in the coming days.
