Raiders CB Daryl Worley Facing Four-Game Suspension

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that Raiders CB Daryl Worley is facing a four-game suspension, which stems from his arrest during the offseason.

Anderson says that Worley suspension is still pending appeal.

Worley, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Panthers back in 2016. He’s currently entering the third year of his four-year, $3.23 million contract and set to make base salaries of $630,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

The Panthers traded him to the Eagles in return for WR Torrey Smith during the offseason, but he was cut him loose soon after. The Raiders signed him to a contract in April

In 2017, Worley appeared in 15 games and recorded 64 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 89 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
