Raiders Designate DT Justin Ellis To Return From Injured Reserve

The Oakland Raiders announced Thursday that they’ve designated DT Justin Ellis to return from injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Raiders to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Ellis, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He played out the final year of his rookie contract and was set to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career before agreeing to a three-year extension worth over $15 million this offseason.

In 2018, Ellis has appeared in one game, but has yet to record a statistic.
