Raiders, Dolphins, & Lions Attend Supplemental Prospect TE Sean McQuillan’s Workout

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that 14 NFL teams have inquired about UConn TE Sean McQuillan in past few days.

According to Wilson, the Raiders, Dolphins and Lions attended McQuillan’s Pro Day workout during which he posted forty-yard dash times of 4.77 and 4.78.

Wilson adds that McQuillan’s workout also included a short shuttle of 4.38, a 7.1 three-cone, a 9-0 broad jump, and 19 reps of 225 pounds.

McQuillan is among seven prospects eligible to be selected in tomorrow’s Supplemental draft. He wound up leaving school after he got into a fight with his roommate.

He has a July 17 court appearance for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges. However, a source tells Wilson that McQuillan’s legal outlook is “promising.”

McQuillan finished the 2014 season at UConn with 16 receptions for 158 yards receiving and a touchdown.
