Raiders Fielding Trade Offers For Former Second-Round DE Mario Edwards

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are shopping former second-round DE Mario Edwards in trade offers.

According to Rapoport, the Raiders are frustrated with Edwards and he’s squarely on the roster bubble.

Albert Breer reported yesterday that Edwards was available for trade, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.

Edwards, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2015. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $6.017 million rookie contract that included $4.161 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $1.25 million for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Edwards appeared in 14 games for the Raiders and recorded 27 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

We’ll have more regarding Edwards as the news is available.
