Raiders Hosting WR Eric Decker For Visit

Vic Tafur of the Athletic is reporting that free agent WR Eric Decker is visiting with the Raiders on Tuesday.

A report surfaced earlier that Decker was scheduled to meet with the Saints, but HC Sean Payton and several local reporters quickly shot that down. Apparently, there was a mix up with the team Decker was visiting today.

This is the first visit for Decker since the free agent market officially opened.

Decker, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2010. He spent four years in Denver before signing a five-year, $36.25 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed with the Jets as a free agent back in 2014.

Decker was set to make base salaries of $7.25 million and $7.5 million over the remaining two years of the agreement when the Jets cut him loose last year.

The Titans to a one-year contract worth up to $5.35 million last June and he’s once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Decker appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and caught 54 passes for 563 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also contributed 22 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 60 receiver out of 116 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
