Colts Trade 2016 Sixth-Round Pick To Raiders For LB Sio Moore

The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday night that they’ve traded a 2016 late-round pick to the Raiders in return for LB Sio Moore.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Colts are sending the Raiders a 2016 sixth-round pick to be specific.

Moore has already said goodbye to his Raiders’ teammates and the team’s fans on his Twitter account Friday night.

There was talk that Moore could be on the roster bubble, despite showing some promise since entering the league.

Moore, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $3.054 million rookie contract and will make a base salary of $643,000 for the 2015 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Moore would free up $495,292 in cap space while creating $345,416 in dead money.

Last year, Moore was limited to appearing in 11 games for the Raiders and recorded 89 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a pass defense.
