There was talk that Moore could be on the roster bubble, despite showing some promise since entering the league.
Moore, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $3.054 million rookie contract and will make a base salary of $643,000 for the 2015 season.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Moore would free up $495,292 in cap space while creating $345,416 in dead money.
Last year, Moore was limited to appearing in 11 games for the Raiders and recorded 89 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a pass defense.
