Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Raiders are making a “strong push” to sign Ravens OL Kelechi Osemele.

Garafolo goes as far to call them the “favorites” to sign Osemele. However, Garafolo adds that it will likely cost them over $10 million per year.

All indications have been that Osemele was going to test the market and cash in big time, and with the Raiders among the most cap-rich teams in the league, it’s not a surprise to hear that being aggressive right now.

Previous reports have said that the Raiders will likely spend big on the players they like a lot and offensive line happens to be an area that they’re looking for spend.

Osemele offers position versatility, as he’s played both left tackle and guard for the Ravens.

Osemele, 26, was taken in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Ravens. He played out his four-year, $3.34 million rookie contract and will an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2015, Osemele has appeared in 14 games for the Ravens and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 18 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
