Seymour suffered a hamstring that could force him to miss a portion of next season, which is really big news when you consider that he will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
With the Raiders in the midst of a complete rebuild, it is pretty safe to assume that Seymour has already played his last game as an Oakland Raider. Despite being 33-years-old, Seymour’s overall production hasn’t tailed off all that much in recent years, so he could secure a respectable contract in the coming months from a team that is in need of some interior pass rush, but the injury clearly complicates matters.
We have Seymour listed as the No. 23 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
