Raiders Promote DE Shelby Harris, Waive S Tevin McDonald

The Oakland Raiders announced that they’ve waived S Tevin McDonald and promoted DE Shelby Harris from to their active roster on Saturday.

Harris, 24, was taken in the seventh round of the 2014 draft by the Raiders. He was unfortunately unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to their practice squad.

Since then, Harris has been on and off of the team’s practice squad.

Last year, Harris appeared in one game and recorded two total tackles for the Raiders.

McDonald, 23, signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington shortly after this year’s draft.

This season, he has appeared in one game, but didn’t record a single statistic.
