Raiders Promote WR Jeremy Ross To Active Roster

The Oakland Raiders have promoted WR Jeremy Ross to their active roster on Wednesday, according to the NFL transactions release.

  • The Raiders also signed LB John Lotulelei to their practice squad.

Ross, 27, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2011. He played briefly for the Colts before joining the Packers in October of 2012.

The Lions would later sign him to a contract and give him an opportunity to their kick returner where Ross showed some ability. However, he was among the team’s final roster cuts before signing on to the Ravens’ practice squad.

Baltimore cut Ross loose over a week ago, but signed on to the Raiders’ practice squad just a few days later.

This season, Ross has appeared in five games and recorded nine receptions for 88 yards receiving to go along with 205 kick return yards and 109 punt return yards.
