Coming off of a surprising 59 point output against the Denver Broncos, it would seem likely that the Raiders would stick with the hot hand but head coach Tom Cable said that Bruce Gradkowski will get the start once he’s healthy.
Jason Campbell has had an up and down season so far and the 59 points didn’t necessarily come from his performance on Sunday. The Raiders had five rushing and two defensive touchdowns while Campbell managed 204 yards passing and two touchdowns. He did a better job of managing the game and limiting turnovers than anything else.
Gradkowski is coming off of a shoulder injury and his status for Sunday’s game against Seattle is still up in the air so Campbell could have another shot at this weekend.
