Michael Gelhken reports that the Raiders are re-signing DL Gabe Wright to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Raiders’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Paul Butler
- S Dallin Leavitt
- WR Saeed Blacknall
- LB Jason Cabinda
- FB Ryan Yurachek
- WR Marcell Ateman
- G/T Denver Kirkland
- DB Rico Gafford
- WR Johnny Holton
- DT Gabe Wright
Wright, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He lasted just over a year in Detroit before he waived at the start of the 2016 season.
The Browns later signed Wright to their practice and finished out the year in Cleveland. Wright had a brief stint with the Eagles last year before joining the Dolphins at the start of the regular season.
The Dolphins have waived Wright after he got in a fight with RB Kenyan Drake. and he was later claimed by the Raiders. After being cut loose coming out of the preseason, Wright had a brief stint on Oakland’s practice squad.
In 2017, Wright appeared in one game and recorded one tackle and a pass defense.
