Raiders Re-Signing DT Justin Ellis To Three-Year Deal Worth Over $15M

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Raiders are re-signing DT Justin Ellis to a three-year extension worth over $15 million, pending a review of the final contract.

  • According to Rapoport, the contract includes $6 million guaranteed.

Ellis, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He played out the final year of his rookie contract and was set to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career this offseason.

In 2017, Ellis appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 48 tackles and a half sack. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 45 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
