Raiders Ready To Talk Long-Term Extension With SS Tyvon Branch?

Pro Football Weekly reports that sources have mentioned that the Oakland Raiders would like to begin negotiations with SS Tyvon Branch regarding a long-term extension.

Oakland used their franchise tag on him at the beginning of March, but they could lower that number in the interim by getting a new contract in place. The reports mentions that Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie would like to have something done during the offseason, but that could come after the draft.
